A Year Of Outfits

Looking back 2013's outfit I don't think I made too many cock-ups, I'm actually pretty pleased with all of them. As Claire mentioned on her outfit round-up the other day, there isn't any "what was I thinking?!" moments. I was more prolific with outfit shots on Instagram this year, but back in July I roped in Hollie's photography skills and started to get in the swing of things. First off with this Hawaiian shirt/shorts combo.

In August we were lucky enough to attend the Beacons Festival with Urban Outfitters, which was one of our year highlights. It rained, oh boy did it rain, but it didn't stop me from wearing my favourite red Hawaiian shirt by Levi's. I was also snapped by Atoo, wearing the same shirt whilst attending menswear trade show, Jacket Required.

October saw us work with the beautiful Lucy from Shiny Thoughts for a Style Challenge, we both bought each other trainers to style in an outfit! It was a heavy trainer year and it's very hard to choose a favourite, but it would have to be the Nike Flyknit 1+ I featured back in September's outfit. A close second being the water resistant Nike Free Run, combined with one heck of a handy jacket. And  the year finished off on a high, finally getting my hands on a pair of Red Wing boots. I'd been saving for them for yonks, I wore in the Voucher Codes Winter Coat Challenge.

2014 holds more of the same for me I reckon - supporting new and existing British and American made brand, as well as satisfying my trainer obsession. I was asked to define my style on Twitter the other day but it's such a tricky question to answer. Let's not worry about that, just go with the flow man. Thank you for reading!

You've had one hell of a year, good on you, I can tell you've proper gone for it with your blog too which is very inspiring. Just think how this year will pan out, be an ever better one I'm sure. It's mad to see how your business has grown, I bet you're chuffed to see it in some stores. Pat yourself on the back there!

Thank you by the way, driving for me as been a bit of a hassle. I started out with an instructor who I didn't feel like I was progressing with so I took a year out and mid last year I started up again. No one in my family drives so I found it difficult, plus being a nervous sort of person I was hesitating all the time. So glad I passed though, was not expecting to do it first time, felt good as I knew family members didn't expect me to do it!
