It's been about a month since I've been back from Orlando now but the casual, relaxed lifestyle seems to have rubbed off on me. I'm finding myself dressing increasingly like one of those old retired chaps who you see sitting around, reading the paper, smoking a cigar, not really waiting for anything to happen. That's the Floridian way of life really. The heat slows you down, no one's in a rush, It's a whole different way of life to here.
So I took inspiring from these carefree dudes and I think I'm pretty close to getting the Hawaiian shirt vibes down to a tee. I picked up this blue chambray number in H&M just before we left. Along with the red Levi's one a blogged about, that's two crackers in my collection. As it's permanently sunny in the North of England at the moment I decided to wear it with a plain white t-shirt, navy chino shorts and these Converse All Star Hi from Surfdome. Beige Converse have been a staple of mine for donkey's years now, I find them such an easy colour to chuck on with anything. You can find them here.
If I do end up slowly turning into one of those retired Floridian fellas I'd probably have to trade in the baseball cap and trainers in for a Panana hat and a pair of comfy slip-ons. Suits me just fine though, who's with me?

ReplyDeleteEven without the panama hat and slip ons it looks superb. Really digging it man. the photos look great too! I like the vintage 80's ish vibe from it all. Really into that. I've been wanting to pick up some high top converse you got there. At least i've been thinking I want them. In reality I probably don't. haha. That NGco product shot looks good. I think I mentioned it before but you guys did a really good job on taking photos of the products.

Been away for some time. Things have been quite hectic over here. Höss is launching at the end of this week. I gotta say this week has been the biggest amount of work I've put into it. I'm into skateboarding from the art and lifestyle aspect. Yes i know just about all the tricks and enjoy watching some vids here and there. Usually I'd catch one with a friend of mine I worked with back at aa. As for actually skateboarding no I don't. I used to early in middle school. Couldn't do anything though. Later that year I really got into bmx though and took that pretty serious for a few years. My brother and some friends of ours even started putting out web edits and all.
Now I just focus on riding my fixie and doing a few tricks here and there. I'd like to be as good as Keo Curry. Check this

Well it's cool to see you do enjoy games whether you play them or not. I ended up asking because funny and perfect enough that you mentioned about gta,
gta 5 is set to release in september and not a day goes by that I can't help but think of it. haha. I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything like that. Just a hardcore gta fan. lets just say I pre ordered and will be attending the midnight release.
And speaking of gta I've tweaked my skills here and there and have been practicing a bit but have developed a gta style of art. I think you'll enjoy the new pieces.
No i've never been to Georgia, still not sure if I have the desire to go. Although you did make the trip seem to be a lot of fun. If you ever for any reason head out to Denver or even Colorado let me know. Sure we can make out a good plan for ya.
