Orlando Photo Diary Part 1

From top to bottom - We've driven past Orange World so many times, I'm yet to stop there but it's got major kitsch value / Campbell's soup display in Target / The neighboring town of Celebration at night, such a nice place. They still had their Christmas decorations up which trumped ours / Popped by J.Crew, lots of ace things including The Shirt Bar / Huge range of J.R. Watkins products in Cracker Barrel, also where I found the Crayola tin and Bone Suckin' goodness / Nice to match your outfit shots to fire hydrants / I finally had my first legal drive and it was this beast 5 litre 7 seater beast!

Hey guys, we're just back from Orlando so I thought I'd get right to it and share some photos with you. If you have been following me on Twitter you may have seen we had to cut our holiday short by a substantial amount. There was a death is Hollie's immediate family and we had no choice but to fly back to the UK straight away. Some things are more important than holidays, hopefully we can carry on where we left off later in the year. Thank you to of you who've sent your wishes via Twitter, Facebook and email, taking time out to write a 100 character message really does mean the world at this time.

So for the time being I'll share a few images from our week in Orlando, we didn't get up to too much but it's just nice to be out there. I did have my first legal drive though, nice to get things off to a bang! I've not driven a car since passing my test about a year ago, I think I could get used to driving an automatic 5 litre 7 seater! As always was on the look out for interesting and fun packaging, I'm kicking myself for not buying more J.R. Watins products, I'll leave them for next time. Plenty more where this came from, I'll post Part 2 later on this week.

Hope everyone's been keeping well, what's been going on?

Sorry to hear about the loss. It's never easy. Family gets you through at times like these.

Nice one on the driving! I'm ashamed to say I still have yet to pass. I've been incredibly lazy with it. I remember I was on my last year of the degree when I started learning to drive so it was put to one side, and now I just need to get back into it. It;s all so expensive. Loosing the u.o job too was deflating, i just hope something comes up soon.

  18. I'm sorry for the loss there.
It looks like you guy's still got a lot done in Florida. Seems like a fun place to be. How was the weather?
Looking good in the truck too. haha. I bet it felt huge driving no? How'd you like driving by the way? Especially here in the states.
This past week I was looking to get a car and checked out 2. Went to buy one a few days later and it wouldn't start. None the less, I figured getting a car at this time just wasn't meant to be.
That shop looks pretty good. Definitely liking the shirt bar sign and shelving there.
What new Balance are those again? Been wanting to get myself another pair, preferably a size smaller. A nice classic grey pair although the colored ones are so appealing.

It gets pretty cold there in Denver. The coldest I experienced up there was 9F. It does get into the negatives as it gets further into winter though. Still no where near as cold as a lot of other places though. This past summer up there was a very warm one for the city too reaching up to the upper 90's. It gets hot there but not quite as hot as it was that summer.
The last place is a bit hard to describe. They sold a lot of terrariums. Had quite a bit of art and some cool knick knacks here and there. I would have liked to get more photos but my camera isn't the best for snapping a quick low light scene and I didn't want to stand in one spot for a long time trying to get the picture just right. I like to be a bit more discrete.
That interview sounds pretty interesting to me. I really like bus since with the such bold 80's and 90's prints. Big fan of that.

The aquarium pics are digitals that I shot on a sony cybershot 12mp camera. That camera takes some pretty good shots but a lot of times not so great.
I'm more of a P&S type of person. Im looking to get the newest version of that camera which is at a whopping 18mp now. Also has some neat features on it and a pretty good macro as for that function on my current camera has quit working.
