Working With Patterns

Wearing - Gap navy polka dot shirt & chinos, Penfield red backpack, Converse, Muji watch, Ray Ban

I've been trying to experiment with different patterns and prints of late, well in my head a least. After ogling the Pitti images on various websites and blogs it became pretty clear that I need to try out more interesting prints other than the safety net of checks and stripes. It's not that I don't see any but the stuff I usually see isn't anywhere near my budget. So when I saw this polka dot shirt in Gap last week it was pretty obvious that I had to have it. I picked it up in Glasgow whilst we were there last week in the sale so I can't complain. I'm currently looking at this fella for inspiration, although I do have super beard envy.

In other news I got a new tattoo a couple of weeks ago, an anchor on the inside of my upper arm, I'm sure it will crop up on here sooner or later. Also I'm also officially job hunting so if anyone reading this  looking for a hard working creative chat, I'm your man.

  11. I agree about the unreality of Givenchy. Re: Style, unfortunately I don't think I really have the right kind of, umm, physique to pull off tomboy/androgyny/menswear. Will definitely be taking more abstract inspiration in terms of simple prints and primary colours though!
