Ideas | Coast To Coaster by Reed Wilson Design

Shoreditch is a goldmine for discovering new things. With shops like Goodhood and SCP you're always going to discover new designers and items you've not seen before. Last time I took a wander round I found these geographic coasters from Reed Wilson Design - one for each coast in the States, plus one for the north so they don’t feel left out. I thought they were pretty neat.

The perfect gift to remind an American friend of home. - Nik

Ideas | For Display Porpoises Only + Weekend Links

This one is a two-in-one: a super quick way of sounding like a New Yorker and a pretty clever bit of China too. This "For Display Porpoises Only" plate by Lazy Oaf, cracks me up every time I see it. Just look at that smug grin!

I hope all my stateside friends had a great Thanksgiving Weekend, and to the rest of us, just a regular relaxed weekend? Sheesh there's just four weeks left until Christmas too, I better get moving!

365 Postcards by Lorraine Loots + Weekend Links

I shared these tiny nuggets of gold on Twitter yesterday but I thought they were too good not to share on here. Just look at these super detailed, tiny paintings by artist Lorraine Loots. She recently challenged herself to create a new "tiny painting" every single day for a year - the results are just wonderful. First seen here.

Well, this weekend we're heading off to a performance art show at the local park, which is being advertised as "a disaster movie in the sky". It will be a first for all of us! I'm also looking forward to catching up on blogs, in fact, that's what I'll be doing most of Saturday. Enjoy your weekend too!

Wedding Ideas - DIY Confetti Balloons

DIY Confetti Balloons via Studio DIY. I can't wait to show Hollie this, she's going to love it. Potentially a really cool idea for our wedding I reckon. Plus it looks pretty easy to recreate, so it's something I could actually lend a hand with. Win win. Does anyone remember the Balloon Invitation I made?

StickyGram

Photos of Instagrams on Instagram? That's right, got it in one. StickyGram turn your favourite Instgram photos into fridge magnets, so instead of just scanning through your phone to see your images you can see them every time you grab for the semi-skimmed. They let me give their service a spin last week, I'd chosen my photos and checked out in about 3 minutes; arriving in no time at all. It's such a nice and simple idea, making your phone snaps tangible seems to make them much more worth while.

Well worth a go guys.
