Lamp Appreciation by Katie Rea + Weekend Links

A little bit of Lamp Appreciation by Katie Rea, nice to see her uploading illustrations again. Nice to have the lights back on.

I really need to get my head down and crack on with work this weekend; not that I've got behind but there's so much I want to do, freelance and personal. Lots of ideas for blog posts whizzing around in my head at the moment. Your feedback has been so positive lately, so we'll just keep doing what we're doing! I'm also starting indoor rock climbing this weekend, that will give me even more to focus on...Anything new with you?

Happy weekend my friends.

Tattyboots "What's In Mat's Bag" Illustration

what's in my bag blogger, cool illustrations, tattyboots blog, tattyboots illustration, northern goods co key clip, cdg wallet, burts bees lip balm
Notepad, Moleskine Diary, Lamy Pen, Glasses Case, Deception Point, Horn Comb, Water, Fulton Umbrella, Bandana, Wallet, Northern Goods Co. Key Clip, Bottle Top, Burt's Bees Lipbalm, Swiss Army Knife, XXX Mints.

Katie from Tattyboots took a different approach to the old What's In My Bag routine and decided to draw the contents instead. Illustrator Katie Rea recently asked me to be a test dummy for the new feature on her blog, it makes a nice change from seeing the regular photo style. Neat idea hey?

See more of Katie's work here and don't forget to visit her blog.

New Additions To The Streets & URBANARA Giveaway Winner

These pieces of street art appeared in my town a few weeks ago but today was the first time I could have more than just a passing look. The series is part of the Sun, Sea & Spray festival which now in its third year. This time round it saw over 40 artists bosh out a ton of paintings in various styles and themes, I didn't witness it myself but anything that doesn't include drunk groups on day trips seems to have a possible effect on the town. Are you seeing a changing landscape where you live?
