What matters most to me? This question popped into my inbox this morning. This week John Lewis are running a competition across  their social networks to find out about the stuff that really matters to each of us. Friends and family are the first thought but that's too obvious; that got me thinking about what I really love. As a few of you may know, over the past couple of months I've made a conscious decision to take Buckets & Spades on full time, because it's what matters the most to me. The easy answer from a blogger's perspective would be laptop and camera, these are of course high priority but what makes sitting in front of a computer screen all day much more enjoyable is being surrounded by all the ace collectables and oddments I've accumulated over the years. See my other Vinylmation figure hereSo, #whatmattersmost to you?

As part of the campaign, John Lewis are asking the public to join in and share the things that mean a lot, by creating a short videos on Vine and sharing it on Twitter using the hashtag #whatmattersmost. Everyone that does this will be entered into the #whatmattersmost competition to win either £1000 John Lewis Vouchers or one of three Canon 700D (Best purchases I've ever made, other than Hollie's engagement ring that is!).

If you would like to enter the John Lewis #whatmattersmost competition* you'll have to get your skates on, it ends this Sunday 8th September!

I've got a new mate on my desktop, he's got quite a confusing body. Along with our collection of Bearbricks we've now started adding Vinylmation toys into the mix. I picked up several in a Disney Factory Outlet while I was in Orlando recently.

Abstract Mickey Mouse is designed by graphic artist Eric Caszatt and is apart of the Urban Series 6. I'll be sharing the rest of them with you over the next couple of weeks.

Does anybody else collection vinyl figures, or are we alone on this one?

Orlando Photo Diary Part 2

Well I've been back from Orlando for 2 weeks now (Hollie's due home this week) and I've never felt so strongly about moving to the US. I've got to try and make it happen, there's got to be a way. When we arrived back from Savannah we had a week remaining in the villa, we didn't really have too many plans so we took it easy, hanging out at Celebration Town Tavern sampling craft beers, eating copious amounts of ice cream at Kilwins and heading down to my favourite restaurant, Bahama Breeze. All worth checking out if you're ever in the area guys.

We manage to squeeze in some more fun stuff on the last full day, hitting up Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Nike Free-Run's are the go-to theme park trainer! The plan was to stay to watch the Fantasmic show at the end of the night then dash over to the Magic Kingdom for 10:45pm to watch the new 4D show. But sadly as we were waiting for the magic to happen, you guessed it, classic Floridian weather kicked in and the whole show was cancelled.

I've never been so drenched in my life. Two thousand or so people rushing for the exit all at the same time isn't what you want. It didn't take anything away from the whole 2 weeks though, all we could do was laugh. It was by far one of the wonderful holidays I've had, so much fun! Until next time....

Right that's your lot, I won't bombard you with anymore photographs from my holidays, normality resumes and I'm back on the job hunt. Hope you guys enjoy the photos!
