AJ's Toy Boarders + Weekend Links

Those little green Toy Soliders feeling a bit old hat? Well, do what every other sane adult would do and trade them in for these rad Toy Boarders at Goodhood. They come in skate, surf + snow versions. Dude!

So it's been another hectic week but I'm determind to catch some down time this w/e. I still haven't managed to celebrate my birthday yet, so we can settle down with a beer at some point. Do you lot have any nice plans?

  1. Massive happy birthday dude! How's it been so far?

Those little green chaps look pretty cool, instantly reminded me of toy story actually. Good ole days! Oh my word that video is insane! Crazy editing skills right there. I think anything with a song playing over becomes funny haha.

In reply to your comment from last month (god, I need better time keeping skills!) I've been applying for junior graphic designer roles. Been interning at a place in Derby but have now finished, will mention a post about some work I did there on my blog too. Blog is taking a different turn, I still enjoy fashion but it doesn't generally excite me anymore, I think I'm far more focussed on design and illustration. Hope folks will be cool with that haha. Thanks for the kind words too about the illustration, definitely become pretty addicted to learning digital art but of course still enjoy traditional pencil and paper!

  4. glad to hear you're getting creative and not just sitting around doing nowt. I'd be keen to see more of your work yes so please do post it, i liked what i saw on Instagram. A change of direction isn't bad at all and I think your readers will all respect that. I cover all sorts here that's why I never like to just call it a menswear blog, cos that would be a lie. It is nice to see your face on the blog though so maybe don't just hide away all together? as readers I think we like to know who we're reading about.

  5. Hahah, I very nearly believed those mobile phone walking lanes! It'll be sad if it's actually needed.
