Store Visit - Peggs & Son, Brighton

Whilst I was in Brighton I took the opportunity to visit menswear store Peggs & son. I've been following their site and social networks for a while now and it was great have finally have a nose around in person. Stocking a wide range of contemporary and street brands such as Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, Folk, HUF, Norse Projects, Nudie, Obey and YMC along side more higher price point and cult status items from Buzz Rickson's Creep, Fidelity, Mister Freedom, The Hill-Side, Levi's Vintage Clothing, Lightening Bolt, Oliver Spencer, Porter, RRL, Tender.

This one a gem, it seems like menswear stores like Peggs & son are a rare breed in Brighton so it's definitely worth for stopping by if you're ever in the area. It's a stone's throw away from the beach, win/win.

Peggs & son - 39 Duke Street, Brighton East Sussex, BN1 1AG, England.

  5. Solid looking shop. Were the fellas working there nice and all? That always makes the final draw on my liking of the store overall or not. I haven't really had to many encounters of the workers or owners being pretentious or un acknowledging of myself being in their store. It always bugs me if they are like that. Looks like they're stocking some pretty good brands. Definitely ones i'd like to check out in person.

It's been really easy to spot decent vehicles to shoot. Ever since I moved to Denver the whole "vintage car" is an everyday site. I'm loving it. I appreciate your interest in the series. It feels good to know that I'm not the only enjoying it. I'll try and keep an eye out for more american classics for you. I personally just dig the foreign cars.

Thanks for the commuter jean recommendation. I do think I will be purchasing a pair. It'll be nice to be able to put my lock on them. I definitely recommend the u-locks if you're going to be getting a new one.
Sorry the bike companies I told you about were a no go. Be interested in seeing a bike check from you once you get it a bit personalized and all. I've been wanting to do a bike check but I don't think anybody wants to see a stock one. Definitely need to get some after market parts on it.

Oh wow. Nice one on the fashion promotion. What kind of branding company specifically do you plan on starting if you don;t mind me asking. Is there a big interest in locally and handmade goods where you are? I'd be interested in seeing what you finally come up with. From what you post and all on here seems like your product will be pretty legit.

  6. This store's got a lot of personality! From the black and neon green storefront to the reclaimed wood interiors--really unique!

I'm loving all of your Brighton photos. The beach is all I know of it haha. Great to see what else is to do there.

  7. A great shop, a lot of people overlook Peggs & Son as being very important for pioneering independent brands at the turn of the millennium, before shops like Oi Polloi. A stalwart of Menswear nestled in an equally important part of the country for menswear, history and culture.
