Summertime Blues

Typical scene, untypical view

We have officially hit gloomsville in England, we've learnt to expect below average summer's but this one really does take the biscuit. I'm not complaining about it but we could do with a break, if you haven't heard on the news England & Wales have had the wettest 3 months on record. Though it feels like someone's always say "on record".

I took this shot a few weeks ago when I was at the top of Blackpool Tower, lets say we didn't pick the best day to go up. Let's hope the end of the week perks up a bit so I can actually take some proper outside shots.

  1. Know the feeling; had a month's worth of rain in one day in Berlin last week. Bit crap.

  7. my goodness, I daydream of a place that's cool during summer. (can't even wear pants here from the end of may until the end of sept!) And gray days are my favorite.

Been raining on and off here in Wolverhampton, was quite nice today though but a bit windy - regret wearing a skirt! Has long as the company is good generally it's always a decent day despite the weather but I do hope it perks up

  10. I think the "drought" is officially over. I cannot take so-called "droughts" seriously here....but I was born in Africa. Drought has a whole extreme different meaning there.
