Nice Things @ Togs & Clogs #2

Osma shaving soap - I bet this smells like the old times
Grenson Sid brogues - Best brogues I've come across in a while
London Undercover umbrella - Stay dry and be seen. Handmade in London
Fats Domino singles collection - Just cool
Field Notes pencils - For all you stationery bods
Togs & Clogs x A Few Fine Things iPad sleeve - Cracking piece this

It's Togs & Clogs back again with some cracking products. If you have been reading my blog for a while you may remember me featuring the Manchester based online store, in a post last October. The  store has been open a good few month now and they have some fresh stock in so I thought I'd pick out a few bits for you. As I mentioned last time it's not just the products that appeal to me, it's the way they are shot. Clear and simple is all we really need isn't it? The iPad sleeve is pretty interesting, they've collaborated with A Few Fine Things for this one, using a really nice green tweed and with brown leather edges. They have four different styles of iPad sleeves and they're made in Manchester, England none the less.

Togs & Clogs are also currently running a competition through their Facebook page to win £500 worth of Humor clothing. All you have to do is "like" them and click comps on the left hand side. You've got till this Sunday to enter.

  3. I got an umbrella from a company in London for my birthday. It's bright red. I love it.

Also, I've always been a Fats Domino fan. He was my grandfathers favorite.

  10. I was thinking about getting one of the full size London Undercover umbrellas a while back, but I'm terrified it will prove too large to carry around/strap to my backpack. They are seriously beautiful in person though.

What a fantastic website, the design is my cuppa tea, especially as the photographs are nice and clear. Gosh, if I was a bloke I'd be broke with the stuff they have, this shirt is pretty awesome - (http://www.togsandclogs.com/heritage-research-shirt---nva-long-sleeved-shirt---navy-blue-dot-chambray-3456-p.asp)

I always enjoy these posts because I have more places to check out for boys presents, my brother for example would love some of this stuff. I'm a sucker for those pencils though!

Yeah it's certainly a lot less upbeat but it's a nice change. The transistion from the intro song to Child is bliss on the ears! Have you checked out Radiohead The King of Limbs album? I think you may enjoy it!

Ah nice one! I'll give anything a listen, had a lot of The Doors on lately too. I need to redownloaded music onto my ipod so cheers for letting me know aboit Fats Domino, I'd heard of the name but never really listened to his music. Some great new tunes for my bus journeys.

I'm a big radiohead fan too, a lot of my friends think they're depressing but I suppose they just have that sort of rep, especially because of Creep. I could bop my head to the funky sounds of Kid A all day!

  17. I agree, the products are arranged/shot very nicely. Some e-stores seem designed just to piss you off... And I wonder what shaving soap is like? I've only ever used a shaving oil before.
