Nice Things #1 - J.R Watkins Hand Soap

J.R Watkins Aloe & Green Tea Hand Soap

You know when someone knows you when they arrive home from a holiday with your favorite hand soap. I love this stuff, J.R Watkins (I've posted about them before here) make some top notch natural products with lovely packaging to boot. But it's not a case of fake old times, this is the proper stuff. Hollie jets off the Florida a couple of times a year and always brings back ace stuff. Along with this she bought me a load of American chocolate bars and a book of old army slang, see. I've not tried the Aloe & Green Tea before but I suspect I'm in for a right treat.

I'm a no frills kind of guy, it's small stuff makes me happy. I firmly believe that lots of good small things makes the bigger more stressful things in life that much easier deal with. Whose with me?

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this yet but I've started interning at menswear store Togs + Clogs, been there for about 2 months now and everything is going good. I'm an unpaid marketing assistant right now but hopefully I can make a real difference and turn it into a paid position. You can follow my progress on their Facebook page if you wish.

Slow Progress - Update

It seems I have gone a bit quite from blogging world, this is due to moving to London (well technically I'm not actually in London yet, I'm staying at a friends in Brighton), for a new job, starting next week. As soon as I get settled in a new flat I'll get back to it. I can't wait to start the new job, this one is certainly going to keep me busy. I'm going to be in London for a while, so come say hi if you see me out and about.

Right now it's back to flat hunting, but in the mean time I will leave you with this image:

Update - August/September

It's been a busy few weeks and blogging has suffered slightly because of this. Mainly due to my Topshop hours being different every due for the summer and in between that I have been starting to redecorate my house(starting in the back garden painting the brick walls and slowing moving on to the front garden and the room I'm moving into). Some of you may have seen my Tweets on this. As I am on a gap year from uni, for my course I have to complete at least 6 month industry placed work experience. Starting the middle of September I am doing some work for Manchester Fashion Network and I am hoping this will lead to some traveling and even doing some work for London Fashion Network as they are connected.

Also I'm hopefully doing some guest blogging for fashion156, the online based magazine, within the week. I'll keep you posted. I'm still looking for more work experience so if anybody knows of anything within the industry please get in touch, I'm open to anything.

In other news I'm off to London for four days from 1st Sept - 4th Sept, call it an annual trip, with Hollie. Seriously can't wait, I feel the same every time I go, basically I need to move down south, there is just so much more going on. Blackpool is good, but not for the things I'm interested in.
