Climbing Photography by Jimmy Chin

Since the start of the year I’ve been climbing about twice a week (well, bouldering - I’ve never been very good with ropes). It’s a quite addictive. The more I go, the more I want to go. As with any new activity you get into, it’s straight to the socials to find hints, tips, and generally stunning images.

Jimmy Chin’s Instagram account pretty much solely focused on the latter. He’s some sort of superman - an extreme sports lover and photographer (also, the ‘face’ of Harry’s shaving, check their amazing microsite out). There’s probably not many tips he can give me on either subject anyway given how far behind him I am on both but I can marvel at the photos he takes.

Mountains, sunsets, and the sheer side of a cliff or three, these are inspirational images that leave me totally awestruck. Even if you’re not interested in climbing, go take a look - I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! Nik

  7. Oh wow, these photos are amazing. I've always been more of a 'sunshine chaser' when it comes to trips and holidays but I'd love to go somewhere really rocky and mountainous sometime, that scenery is breathtaking!
