ReplyDelete'Need' is a weird word to apply to fashion. Arguably I do need some new clothes too but this really stubborn part of my brain keeps telling me it is frivolous to want to like my clothes/have them fit correctly/generally not look a bit scummy. Possibly that part of my brain is getting louder too and it is hard to tell whether this is a natural adult thing (every piece of unnecessary clothing you buy is one more step away from ever owning property! as if that is likely to happen ever or is even desirable in the foreseeable future) or just me going a bit bonkers because my current work set up means I'm spending a lot of time more or less on my own... I think I am going through a weird patch (or your mid 20s as I'm sure plenty of people like to call it) and everything is settling into new alignments and it will all sort itself out eventually.
