Some details I picked out from a Classic Car Show I attended, on a sunny afternoon a couple of weeks ago.

In other car news - Royal Mail are current running a competition to celebrate their British Auto Legends stamp collection. The prize is to win a Classic Car for a day, sweet. To enter click here.

  1. Nice! I especially like the tiger striped interior.

I've always wanted a 60s model Camaro. One day when I have loads of cash to dump into restoring one.

I used to know a guy who employed someone to restore his old cars, he had so many of them!

I like the angles of these shots, it's a very nice colour palette too I think. I love that gas monkey illustration in the car window too.

Glad you liked seeing the progress shots, I have a ton on my pc of sketches, might start documenting more stuff like that on the blog seeing as my camera is broken. They said it's £150 to repair it, I may as well sell it for spare parts and invest in a Canon!

Also properly well done on the sell out of your Northern Goods items, knew you're onto good things

  4. These cars are absolutely beautiful. You must have enjoyed seeing these cars - the colours are beautiful too. Especially that first pistaschio coloured car!

  5. Rad you attended! Still regret not going to any in Colorado when I had the chance. Liking the angled photos rather than traditional ones such as side view, etc.

Was it cool to see some american made vehicles there? I would have been stoked to see that Triumph! I like them and their motorcycles too.

Happy belated birthday by the way! Sorry I missed the day.

Things have been going kinda slow with Hoss right now. I recently picked up a job position back at my old work here in Texas. I went almost a year without working but decided to head back until Hoss can start bringing in a better income. Our first month we did well, but not good enough for me to pay bills etc. I'm also taking care of my mom a bit now so getting a good ol' j.o.b. is alright with me. Feels good to be working again too with a steady income.
Although i'm not letting it completely consume up all my time, I've still be cracking at making new shoe designs and products. I've realized the developing process is a longer one than I had thought!

Also haven't been into posting on the blog lately. I just can't seem to focus. I think it may just be for the time being. But might just get away from the blog spot platform altogether. We'll see though. Think I just need to get into a groove. It'll be good to help promote all of my blogs and Hoss overall if I can get more traffic there via lookbook and all. Haven't taken an outfit photo in ages!
Now that I'm working though i'm trying to update my wardrobe. Not with unique pieces or anything that stands out. But i've always been into almost a uniform type style. (hey seems I could be making a blog post about this? haha) So I've been looking to buy the same jumper in an array of colors, the same polo in an array of colors, same wind breaker jackets in an array of colors and plimsoles in a few colors. I like for everything to always look the same but to now experiment with different colors. I think it'll be fun and i've always wanted to do so!

Hope you're not working to hard this weekend!

  7. Beautiful shots, Mat! These cars are sweet, I love the little details like the flags and the tiger striped interior. One day I hope to own a 65 Mustang (convertible - navy blue base with a white soft top. A girl can dream).
