New Additions To The Streets & URBANARA Giveaway Winner

These pieces of street art appeared in my town a few weeks ago but today was the first time I could have more than just a passing look. The series is part of the Sun, Sea & Spray festival which now in its third year. This time round it saw over 40 artists bosh out a ton of paintings in various styles and themes, I didn't witness it myself but anything that doesn't include drunk groups on day trips seems to have a possible effect on the town. Are you seeing a changing landscape where you live?

  1. Wow that street art is incredible! It's great to see art out on the street, I think sometimes in museums it can feel like it's there for just arty types. If it's outside than anyone can enjoy it, plus it always puts a smile on my face to see some.

Woah, those are awesome! How mad is the first one! I'd love it if my town had crazy stuff like that on the walls, the closest we have are stuff like 'lookin' 4 nice gal dem - dave' so poetic! ...I live in a very non creative sort of place y'see, which is a serious killer for inspiration!

Congratulations Daisy, great prize, enjoy it!

  3. These are pretty cool! I've been meaning to take a couple of pics around where I live of the street art, but it's definitely not this neat.

  8. They're so cool! Nothing ever changes in my neighbourhood (except sometimes sheep on the field and sometimes not), but I love to see and photograph the street art in London.

How cool is that?! I think Orlando (Central Florida in general) is slowly evolving in a more cultural way. I'd love to see more art, though. (That last painting is my favorite.)
