I REALLY Want To Ride My Bicycle

I really want a bike, the problem is, I don't really have anywhere to ride it. I don't fancy riding 100 to work every day. Until I live somewhere a bit more cosmopolitan I will just have to make to with strolling around bicycle shops and browsing images online. Is there a chicer way to travel around the city?

On the other hand, if anyone knows of any good bicycle shops in the Manchester area please let me know.

  3. I feel the same way. I miss riding my bicycle around the college campus...especially as spring approaches.

And I really want that flask...but dunno if I can dish out 50 pounds for it.

  4. One day, I won't be too scared to ride a bike in London. And I'll own the cutest little sit-up-and-beg vintage bike with a basket. I love this post :)

  5. You should definitely ride your bike! I have a road bike myself and I ride it to school most days of the week. It's also great for a little adventure in a scenic place.

  6. Ahhh, this makes me wanna go biking now! Those lovely bikes remind me of my pink and white cruiser. And I think I need that flask. Sooo cute!

I live in London and I fear for my friends whenever they go out on their bikes!!

Love that last picture, it makes bicycling look chic and has made me want to join my friends cycling!

  12. that's a great bike - Gordon's in the process of building one. I have bike envy but as I have never mastered the art of cycling I keep fantasising about trikes instead!

  13. That first bike is stunning!
I really fancy a bike, although they make me nervous. I haven't cycled in years, and I'd be scared of falling in the road!

  14. Oh bikes are EVERYWHERE in Oxford, do my head in! Mine's not very fashionable though, although I am planning to spray paint it pillar box to make it cooler :)

  15. You got a Canon 350d for a bargain price?! Congrats, I would be chuffed too with a find like that.

I really want a bicycle too! Not like a grubby mountain bike, but a proper Pashley or something. This one is my favourite:

Don't know if you would want a pink one though :P
    And they are pretty pricy...

  20. I got my shop from the Bike Doctor just on the way to Longsight from Fallowfield. If you google it they have a website.

  21. no worries. The best thing about bike doctor is they have a pretty sweet follow up package and service your bike for free loads of times after. Plus they know their stuff, not like the cowboys at Sam Taylor Bikes in the 'Pool.
