If anyone has been on the Maison Martin Margiela website they will have seen just how simple a site needs to be to be truly innovative. I just love this, it's made up of very simple text, folders and sub-folders (or folder tree) just like all computer were like, back in the day.

Text is laid next to image inspiration which by clicking on opens their seasonal collections including accessories. It really is beautifully done, I'm such a geek for things like this but it works so well. None of this destracts you from why you came of the site in the first place, collections are easy to find and scroll through, where you can see all the detailed shots you like.
Collections are accompanied with images, to show their current colour palette for each collection or is it just them having fun with photography?
When you click on the "stores" you are left looking at a list of stockist within each country and am image of footprints in white paint. These little quirks just make everything much more appealing, as a fashion promotion student this is so inspiring for me.
