Today Hollie and I popped down to Lythem to meet our lovely friends, Lottie + Nic. First stop was Sweet Chicory for cakes and tea.
Carrot cake, meringue and Earl Grey tea + espresso/orange juice was on our menu. It was so yummy, you can't be homemade recipes. Hollie's two thumbs up suggested she was a big fan of the carrot cake. Next we took a trip to this ace little old-fashioned sweet shop, we didn't buy much as we were there last week and still had leftovers from then. I did buy a small paper plane for 5o pence (I used to be obsessed with them as a kid). The weather took a turn for the worst so we decided to head home before it got any worse. This didn't effect the afternoon from being lovely.
We will be seeing Lottie + Nic on thursday night for cocktails and dancing.
